Chris Copeland is a Louisiana-based expert in hospitality management, business, and real estate investments. His strong experience in hospitality has prepared him for his latest venture, NOLA Detox and Recovery Center, where his primary goal is ensuring patients are comfortable through their recovery process and prepared for life outside of treatment.

Across the state, there is no bigger name in hospitality than the Copeland family. Founders of world-famous Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and owners of restaurants, hotels, food distribution companies and commercial real estate, the Copelands are the connoisseurs of making someone feel welcome and at home.

Chris is a shareholder in his family business and sits on the board of the Al Copeland Foundation, which has donated over $1.3 million to cancer research in partnership with LSU Health Science Center. His family has also donated the Al Copeland Concerts Meadow at Lafreniere Park which now houses the famous Copeland Christmas display each holiday season.

For over a decade, Chris worked at Al Copeland Investments in concept development where he helped create Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro, Wholly Mackerel, and Sweet Fire & Ice Restaurants. Chris was general manager and a partner of Buca di Beppo Restaurant and operator of Copeland’s Restaurant. He is also the former owner of Super Popeyes Restaurant.

Chris attended the University of New Orleans and is a member of the Krewe of Argus. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his prodigious extended family and with his wife Angel and their children. He also loves the New Orleans Saints and has been a season ticket holder since childhood.
