NOLA Detox and Recovery Center Finds a Place to Call Home

Located in Algiers just across the Mississippi River from New Orleans, NOLA Detox offers a discreet and scenic location for patients to unplug and focus on their recovery, while staying close to the city to position patients to ultimately reintegrate back into the vibrant culture of New Orleans. 

NOLA Detox’s location sits next door to the University of Holy Cross, which affords the opportunity to work with the faculty and students of its PhD, masters and undergraduate level counseling programs.

We are thrilled to be a part of the Algiers community, bringing economic development to the area with new job creation, as well as offering a place for patients that is so close to home. 

At our center, we offer an array of amenities, including deluxe catered food, a special treat of milk and cookies before bedtime, as well as queen-sized, pillow-top beds in every room. There’s also nightly fireside group chats and peer support. 

When you come to NOLA Detox, you aren’t going to find a typical sterile environment where you sit around all day. We are going to have activities and entertainment regularly. We’re also going to take our patients out into the community to continue to experience their lives.
